1. Suitable clients:
We generally recommend an initial consultation for people who have already been assessed or treated within the mainstream medical system, have basically ruled out acute conditions, and are still dealing with long-term, recurring chronic issues.
2. Can results be guaranteed?
No, individual outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
3. Will I need many sessions?
This requires a comprehensive assessment of the individual’s specific condition, so it is not possible to provide a definite answer that applies to everyone.
For example: as these are usually long-term, recurring chronic issues, we generally recommend starting with a 10-session package.
In general:
For musculoskeletal issues, such as posture-related problems or pain, sessions are usually once a week at first, and then adjusted according to the individual’s condition.
For internal issues, such as digestive problems, sleep problems, or fatigue, sessions are usually once a month.
4. What does the initial consultation include?
The initial consultation usually includes a review of your symptoms and medical history, previous examinations and treatments, clarification of the main issue affecting your quality of life, an initial assessment, and recommendations on whether it is appropriate to continue and what the next steps may be.
As we use an integrative approach combining Chinese and Western medicine, our clinical perspective may differ from conventional views. If we cannot reach a basic mutual understanding regarding the problem and the direction of care, it is usually not advisable to continue.
